Terms & Conditions

  • Submit your application between 1st of August 2021 to 31st of October 2021.
  • One applicant can be submitting one application only. (Please download from www.wediditglobal.com/download)
  • Language (s) preferred Sinhala/English/Tamil only
  • Applicants could be all around the world
  • Once your submitted “Demo” inspected by the WDIG A&R division, lucky winners will be announced from our official website/FB & Twitter and also send an official email to the given address by the applicant.

Demo Criteria

  • Duration restricted to Five (5) mins Approx.
  • File format should be in WAV format, 44Khz 16Bit.
  • Lyrics must be submitted in PDF format (7 or higher)

Demo Platform

  • You are free to work with any audio recording platform that you are comfortable with to make your demo. If you win, you’ll be requesting to submit your audio ‘project’ on a DVD due to intellectual property rights involvement with this project. Hence, we highly recommend you to use ProTools | First or free trial, Cubase 5 or up, as your DAW.
  • 31st of October is the final date and NO entry in any manner will be acceptable after this date
  • Failing to full fill above requirements, will be identifying as disqualified application
  • We Did It Global Artist and Repertoire (A&R) divisions decision must be the FINAL DECISION.

Objectives of the Program

“A Great Opportunity to Explore Your Artistry” program is our comprehensive step in line up. Accordingly, the final round of the same will be joining ten (10) most outstanding contenders as winners in each three categories. One contender will be awarded as the overall best performer in all categories. Each winner in three categories gets an equal chance of release their creation and the best performer in all categories will be releasing three creations in the same album under ‘We Did It Global’ label. Each album contains eight numbers of new creations and four numbers of recycles of legendary works. In addition to all that, we will manage to license the album for Digital platforms as well as all the TV/ Radio, Satellite stations, web Radios and other Digital platforms to ensure the creators commercial benefits.                 

Poet or the lyrical creation doesn’t fade away for ages. If a song, it’s same as its music composition. Lyric in any language or the music notes in universal language never ever dies until that creation delivered to the right hand with a vision. Music publishers around the world keep up the good work in handy always. Therefore “We Did It Global” took its first step to keep up the good work in Music which created for last decades and coming years in future for sake of the industry of world music. We are also a full member of COMPASS Singapore and our relationship grows for the best always. 

Our main focus is to recycle the legendary musical creations for the future generations. It is a must and it’s a national cause in the sense as well. We pick and choose the best performers to do the job. It is our great intense to choose the path of the best for the music industry as always it should be. To direct it where it should be in next five years, we understood that is our sincere responsibility. We invite mostly the new coming / upcoming artists, keeping the best and legendary creators in musical works beside as their best guide lines, and join hands to step in to the future world of music which they dreaming of every day.
